12:38 NZST (GMT+12) an A4 Skyhawk just crossed Auckland International
Airport.
I work out at the airport & was having lunch when I heard a loud jet,
obviously not the usual turbofans you hear around the airport.
Looked up to see an RNZAF Skyhawk coming from the north heading south
essentially dis-secting the runway.
Was at I guess 500ft.

Anyone know what the RNZAF is doing flying an A4 today?
Demonstration flight for a possible purchaser?

Possibly, although that seems to be coming to a conclusion. But the chap
who does the demo flights has to keep his hand in with so many hours per
month - and he does seem to pop up in all sorts of places. Lucky bugger!

Was it a model or a T-bird?

Phil.
