We so often read about cities neglecting airports; here's a good story

That airport is about to just explode from the way things are looking.
They are about to get in a HUGH boost when Doss, a company out of
Colorado Springs, starts flight training for the military down there.
It is speculated to start up ops in the fall once the dorms are
completed. It is rumored that they are expect to take possession of
60 Katanas right of the bat with the option of taking delivery of 20
more. At least that was the last number I heard a few months ago.
Silver State Helicopters has also just put in a new flight school down
there as well. We use to go down there from Springs to do all our
instrument training and IPC's because they had all the approaches
including ILS, VOR, NDB and GPS. But now its getting so stinking
busy, its hard to do any practice approaches with any consistency
anymore.
