I'd agree with Dave. Fireworks don't generally go as high as you think
(usually a few hundred feet, maybe a couple thousand, I'd guess) so mostly
you just lose them in the ground clutter of city lights. Better to do it
from a good place on the ground.

I don't know anything about Kaboom, but I would say I have found viewing
fireworks from the air disappointing. They look better from the ground.
