Define "wooden" The AS-W12 probably has more balsa in it than
fiberglass, volume-wise.

A true "wooden" 1000 km zig-zag on the Sierra Nevada / White Mts. is
certainly possible in wave or on a good thermal day.


Not Staight Distance, but 1000KM OLC flight in a 6E had been done.
