Imperial War Museum sets dates for air shows Stars and Stripes

DUXFORD, England — A series of air shows has been scheduled by the
Imperial War Museum at Duxford for the summer and fall. Each show
features a variety of aircraft with a focus on a particular type or
vintage.

The series kicks off with a D-Day Anniversary Show June 6. Featured
will be aircraft of the type that flew on that day, plus their modern
counterparts. Also on display will be military vehicles, including
tanks. There will also be a commemoration service.

The Flying Legends Show will be July 10-11, featuring classic combat
aircraft. It is a chance to see Spitfires and P-51 Mustangs in flight.
