Yep, my father was in 24 Squadron from the late '50s. All the
RAAF Vultee Vengeance squadrons upgraded to B-24s around '44, talk
about a culture shock.

Back in the 1980s or early '90s, there was a USAF Reserve unit
(mighta been ANG...) that transitioned from the A-37 to the C-5.
Only a couple extra engines, shouldn't have been all ~that~ much
trouble...



.....until you try a few loops and rolls, the odd Immelmann or two.
