Default C-119 Flying Box Car Open Cockpit Day at the Pueblo Weisbrod AircraftMuseum (PWAM)

WHO: The Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum

WHAT: is sponsoring an Open Cockpit Day with the C-119 "Flying Boxcar"
troop transport aircraft of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

WHE at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum located on the grounds
of the Pueblo Memorial Airport (PUB). The museum is located 6 miles
east of Pueblo Colorado on US Highway 96/US Highway 50 East.

WHEN: 17 May 2008 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

COST: $6 for persons aged 10 years of age and over. Active duty
military and reservists admitted free with valid military ID. There is
no additional cost to sit in the cockpit of the aircraft.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The C-119 "Flying Boxcar was extenively used
during the Korean and Vietnam Wars to transport troops for the US Army
and US Marine Corps. Some models were modified to serve as gunships to
support troops on the ground. The C-119 was used by many nations
around the world. The taking of photos is permitted and encouraged.
