"Officers and their ladies , enlisted men and their wives
are invited to the squadron party this weekend."




Enlisted men couldn't possibly marry ladies.
No enlisted men showed up......


I didn't join til '75 but I understand back then they issued wives to
enlisted men, something about getting the CO's permission.
