The total termination charge for the program, an Air Force lease of 20
aircraft and purchase of an additional 80, "could reach approximately $310
million by March 31, 2004," the company said in its 10-K filing with the
SEC. Last month, Boeing said it would have to slow down work on the program
because of Pentagon delays on a decision.
