Default US pilots licences and photographs

No photo is currently required for any pilot certificate.



To fly as a Sport pilot, a valid driver's license may be used to establish

medical fitness and almost all states require a photo on a driver's license.


Illinois keeps the DL photo in digital storage, I was able to renew it this time and the DMV (SoS) used the photo from last time. IIRC, the photo can also be used for Firearms cards.
