Default Komet trailer tongue

Probably, you need to adjust your brakes as well as check the damper.

If you don't replace the dampnere, the brakes will come on hard as you
slow down, this will make the hitch pull out and release the brakes.
Then it all starts over again. Roll the window down and apply some
auto brakes, you may hear, "chirp.......chirp......chirp" as the above
trailer action is happening and also BTW eating your trailer tires.
