Default Flying again after 23 years update

Gentlemen,
Today I soloed for the second time in my flying career. The first
time in 1967 and the second time this morning. From 1980 til this last
month after 350 hours in my log book I was a ground pounder, but with
a new medical and couple of hours of ground school, 5 hours of
airwork and takeoff and landings, and a 2 hour cross country and I am
flying solo for the first time in 23 years...
With a few more hours of practice and a little more book review of the
rules of the road I think I will again feel secure using the system.
23 years of rust is not easy to shed, but I think that I can see the
light at the end of the tunnel.
If I can do this any of you out of date pilots should be a cench.
Sorry to go on and on but I just feel the need to share this occasion
with people who can appreciate how I feel today.
If we were in a bar I would treat the house!
Regards and safe flying,
Ken Black
