This used to be an accepted system in Belgium (until the
90's,
when we got

the possibility to make all our old, non registered trailers
conform to

I called the RDW and they said they do home built trailers up to
750kg,
which is the same for Belgium. Any idea where I could find the
info that
they would allow 850kg home built trailers?
Interesting. Built several trailers of up to 1300 kg max and
registered them in the Netherlands over the past few years.
