Those functions usually come from AOA. Since I started this thread it occured
to me slats are also an AOA function.

Maybe it's just there for people like me to ask about.

Although I'm not familiar with the A-10 but from the name it seems the
sensor measures force on the wing, just like many other structural strain
sensors which collect data to be analyzed later from the standpoint of
structural integrity...
