Well, it's an "Old Fart" ejection seat. I've got a knee that's gotten so
bad, I was having trouble lifting myself out of the cockpit. I adapted a
portable "Lift Seat" intended for elderly folks. Added a 110V inverter
to power it. Lifts me about eight inches in ~20 seconds. Here's an
animated GIF (that runs fast) showing the amount of lift:
