If I was a helicopter, I certainly wouldn't want you for an owner.

By "Wind Generator" I assume that you mean "windmill" or "wind
turbine". A "wind generator" is a big fan and it generates wind.
Helicopters do the latter fairly well, but the airfoil blades are
designed for lift and not for blowing air.

As far as turning your scorpion into a windmill, I get sick even
thinking of it. If you are worried about liability, burn the
airworthyness certificate and paint over the N number. Then take a
few parts off and sell them to the same guy separately. That way, you
have no liability because the new guy has to reassemble it and get a
new airworthyness certificate showing himself as the builder. If its
been sitting for 10 years, chances are he'll have to strip it and
rebuild it anyway.

There really should be a law against Cruelty to Helicopters.

Thinking of making a wind generator out of my Scorpion . It has been sitting
in my barn for the last 10 years and only had 50 hours on it . I had thought
of selling it but the liability of whoever I might have sold it to prevented
me from doing that. Anybody have an idea of what kind of power I could
expect to get from the rotor blades in the wind?
