Some questions about flying to LAS:

1. The RNAV RWY 1R (http://naco.faa.gov/d-tpp/0903/00662R1R.PDF) has
two IAFs: BOACH and SKEBR. I can find BOACH on the enroute chart (on
V21 between WHIGG and CRESO) but not SKEBR. Where is it?

SKEBR should be defined as the LAS R-211, 28DME. It's a little
bit northeast of CLARR.

2. Same question for KACCY intersection, which is the IAF for the
VOR/DME-A (http://naco.faa.gov/d-tpp/0903/00662VDA.PDF)

KACCY? LAS R-180, 16.5DME, and/or BLD R-224, 21DME.

3. The route I get from DUATS low-altitude auto-routing (from VNY) ends
at OASYS (on V394), which does not appear to be the IAF for any
approach. Am I missing something? Is DUATS broken? If I were cleared
"as filed" and lost comm, which should I do when I got to OASYS?

ugh.. You'll want to avoid anything near OASYS (in fact, ATC
will keep you away from it) as you'll come into conflict with the
BOACH2, MCCRN3, and SHEAD5 departures out of KLAS.

Two things. If you're looking at flying into KLAS, if you're a
prop or slow and go, consider filing the CRESO3 arrival. They've kept
that one around for the slower planes so they can be kept out of the
main CLARR/KEPEC arrival stream. This would put you pretty much in line
with V21 all the way to BLD.

Secondly, this is all under normal configuration at KLAS
(normal being landing/departing runways 19L/R and 25L/R). Currently
25L/7R is closed for reconstruction (as been since October and will be
until May) so current calm wind config is landing 25R and 1L, departing
1R. From the south, you'll more than likely be given something low to
cross underneath the SoCal departures at BOACH, then turned directly
towards LAS. Clear skies prevail for the most, so visuals will be in
order.
