Default F-104 North American Eagle to run for landspeed record

Hi Everyone,
I realize this really isn't the proper place to mention this but this is a
"distantly" related subject. Please forgive me if I P O some of you...I
apologize. I'm sure most if not all of you know about the Lockheed F-104
Starfighter that has been majorly altered and made into a land vehicle and
is going to be used to attempt to break the world's landspeed record. If
the North American Eagle, as it's been named, does break the landspeed
record, this team will bring the record back to the USA after 17 years ( I
think ). I am hoping a good number of us will take a look at the north
American Eagle's website. What these people are doing is super exciting.
Personally I wish I was close enough to help out. I am also hoping most or
all of you will donate some bucks to the project, even if it's just a few
dollars. They really need it. Here's a link to the website for those that
want to take a look. Take care, Ted
