If left in the faying surfaces, it WILL cause corrosion.

Try this yourself, take a small square of new shiny aluminum and leave it in
Simple Green for a day or so.




Anybody try this (rather expensive) new product (approved for
aircraft)? In particular, it's advertised as OK for aluminum, rubber
and plastic (unlike mineral spirits).
