I just spoke with Charlie Spratt, he is at home and doing OK. He is
going back for more surgery mid-June which will cause him to be unable
to make the contest scene for the rest of 2005. He is in good spirits
and I said I would post this. His search for a kidney is still going
on, but he has some blockage which they will operate on in mid-June and
then will have to go back for more surgery at a later date. He has
traveled a long way in our Sport, and I am sure he would enjoy getting
email or calls from all of you. Let's bring him into our prayers and
wish him a speedy recovery, as CD Spratt will be missed by all the rest
of this contest season. His mailing address is on the SSA web site
under member locator. Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe. # 711
reporting.

Consider also buying a copy of "See Ya at the Airport", Charlie's history
and appreciation of soaring people. Published and available from the NSM,
www.soaringmuseum.org. Got my copy at the SSA Convention. A very
enjoyable, humorous read as only Charlie can tell 'em. Good addition to
your soaring book collection and something your S.O. might also enjoy.
