just got a note from the feds reminding everyone to watch out for
hurricane salt soaked aircraft on the used market. funny, i've been
watching the c-170 section of trade-a-plane and there's this sweetheart
plane in south louisianna that looks to be about 10K$ below market.
any advice on how to check? what to watch out for etc?
Check for:
1. New paint job.
2. corrosion inside hidden areas: flaps, wings, fins, rear of fuselage.
3. New interior to go along with the new paint.
4. New radios, instruments.
