I'm new to soaring and want to take an intensive 5-7 day course that, I
hope,
will include solo. I live in WA. State so I would prefer a school on this
side of the Mississippi if possible.

Mile High Gliding in Boulder, CO, offers a "5-day" course, training in the
forgiving and accessible 2-33, additionally offering the great secenery and
soaring conditions of the Continental Divide. They recommend a B&B just
around the corner but there are many more close-by hotels in the University
