What kit takes a TCM IO-240?

We have this 240 hanging around and we can't sell it but we could stick
in something and fly it.

So what would be a good platform to hang this 240 on?

Should have a fast build kit available. Fixed gear, reasonable
landing/stall speed. 2 seater is a must, Tandem or side by side.

Not terribly expensive.

Should fit at least on semi-large guy, as in oh.....a 220 pounder and
tall.

Diamond Katana uses the IO-240. I don't know of any experimental. By the
way you describe your engine it is apparently an O-240.

Put it in a 2-place experimental Cub, Vagabond, or Super Cub.

There are a few Kitfoxes around with IO-240s. It's a lot of engine
(125hp) for an airplane that flies pretty well with a Rotax 912
(100hp). Or I suppose maybe it is "just the right" engine, depending
on personal preference- takeoff and climb performance is supposed to
be impressive.

Because the Contintental is a heavier powerplant than the Rotax
(close to 100lbs more), the wings on the Kitfox must be swept forward
slightly, otherwise the c.g. would be too far forward (or lots of
ballast would be required). I don't know what design changes went
into the IO-240 engined Katana.

Coincidentally, both airplanes (Kitfox and Katana) have several years
of history with the Rotax 912.
