Thanks, Matt. That would work fine for me. I'll give that a try next time
I'm going IFR.

I haven't obtained my clearance this way since LockMart took over, in
fact I haven't even obtained a briefing since LockMart took over. DUATS
is just too easy to use compared to calling a briefer who may be 3
states away.

However, this technique worked fine with the old FSS.
