Paranoia is defined as an unreasonable fear of persecution, usually because of
an unjustifiably high estimate of his own importance. Daley has exhibited neither.

You don't think that a guy who both bulldozes *and* expands airports is
schizophrenic?

Schizophrenia is an inability to deal with the real world. The most common
symptom is withdrawal, but that's not usually how a paranoid schizophrenic
reacts. Paranoid Schizophrenics usually exhibit unfocussed anxiety, anger,
argumentativeness, and violence. Often a stilted, formal quality or extreme
intensity in interpersonal interaction is noted. Daley does none of this. Daley
has given plenty of evidence that he can deal with the world just fine. If
anything, it is the world that has problems dealing with Daley.

You need to find another dictionary.

You need to buy your first one. Or perhaps learn to read it.

Drink is the curse of the land. It makes you quarrel with your neighbor.
It makes you shoot at your landlord. And it makes you miss him.
