Eh, the CFI certificate is good for only two years anyway, so pretty much all
the active CFIs have plastic certificates anyway. And I had to replace the
pilot certificate when I got my pocket picked in the Philippines.
If I had had a certificate signed by Orville, I would have lost it within a
year or two anyway. I move around too much and keep adding ratings. Jeppesen
had a certificate signed by Orville, but he must have been one of the last.
