Yes the He 177 of KG40 was captured at Toulouse at the same time as a
number of D-520 used by the Luftwaffe. The D-520 were used by Groupe FFI
(Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur) N°1 "Marcel Doret" that became later
the Groupe Saintonge of the French Air Force and were used till 1946.
The photo has visibly been taken soon after the capture as there are
only the french roundel while later the aircraft received also the
'bandes du débarquement' that is the white and black wings and fuselage
markings that identified allied aircraft
