Default Loading SUA File In ClearNav

Yup, I knew that.ツ* I created the file in a text editor and it added the
..txt suffix by default.ツ* I changed that.

I think the problem is with the stick format and the lack of the
ClearNav updater executable.ツ* I'm headed out to the glider now to try it
out.

.TXT and .SUA are different formats and you can't convert between them by
just changing the suffix!

Well, I tried using a .txt suffix and the file was not found by the
simulator.テつ* I changed the suffix back to .sua and was able to load and
view the TFRs on the simulator.

I'll try again at the glider today, but yesterday I did not get any
prompt to update files when I powered up with the stick already plugged

in.
Are you out there, Evan?

Jim,

I'm pretty sure I've done everything exactly as you described except
for using the .txt suffix instead of .sua.テつ* I'll give that a try.

Thanks,
Dan

I hope someone can help.テつ* I'm in Montrose, CO on a gliding safari

there are several fire TFRs in the area.テつ* I have created a TFR file

can't figure out how to load it into my ClearNav II flight computer.
I've also looked through the ClearNav website and can't find the
information there.

I have created a directory structure on a USB stick which matches the
structure used by the CN Simulator.テつ* The SUA file works on the
simulator
but not in the aircraft.テつ* I installed the stick before turning on

the

find the file listed.テつ* What am I missing?

Dan:
The airspace file (I prefer TXT to SUA) goes on the USB stick in the
Map Data / SUAs folder.
Put the USB stick in and power up. At the prompt, update airspace. It
prompts to remove USB and restart. Then go to the menu icon on the
ribbon, tab with "no glider" icon, load.
