Movie on American Movie Classics at 3:30 PM today and 12:30 PM
tomorrow. Side note "Captain's Paradise" and two other Alec Guiness
movies on Turner Classic Movies Saturday October 23 at 10PM. Kind
Hearts and Coronets at 8 PM and Last Holiday at 11:30 PM.


Speaking of military movies, a couple of nights ago I started to watch the
movie "Stop Loss" on the History Channel. It was pretty graphic from the
beginning with the scene set in Tikrit, Iraq, lots of violence. Anyway, I
was waylaid by an evening out with a friend. Anyway, prior to the film
being presented, the host (s) of the show said that after the film, said
that they would discuss how or if the movie in any way affected US military
policy WRT stop loss.

That begs the question ... Did the movie affect policy?
