37 Degree Single vs Double Flared Tubing
Do aluminum fuel lines need to be double flared (37 degree flaring)? A 37
degree double flaring tool is very expensive compare to the single flare
type. I ran across this in a Car Craft magazine article:
"Most tubing in the aircraft industry is extruded in one piece with no seam,
so double flares aren't required to prevent crack formation."
