Forgot about the Flying Tigers. I think they bought the swing tail
versions as freighters. I wonder if they are still in use. I had the
misfortune of missing a boat trip to Europe as the RCAF just received the
Yukon and we flew from Trenton, Ontario to 1(F)Wing in France as 1 Air
Division replacements. A rather long 11+ hour flight in a cramped aircraft
with backward facing seats. More comfortable than a
Herc jump seats however!
