On the other hand, don't forget that (Austrian)
Freud, who can certainly be called one of the
first important modern psychiatrists, was Jewish.
Psychiatry has done a lot of good for people,
and of course, like anything else, it can be
abused. Perhaps those students would actually
be helped by psychology or psychiatry or group
therapy--it doesn't sound like they are getting any
of that.
