I've only scratched the surface looking thru your web site, and I must
say "nice job". This stuff should be mandatory reading for some of the
present day "doves"

I flew A10's in the MdANG for 25 years and, except for a few rotations
to Bosnia for Deny Flight, never saw any combat. My wife's Dad flew
P47s and P51s in the CBI theatre and had some fascinating stories to
tell about how war was conducted back then.

I can't tell you how much respect I have for your generation and all you
gave up and sacrificed so that my generation -baby boomers- can reap the
benefits of freedom.

Not too long ago a co-worker who flew Hueys in Vietnam passed away and I
attended his memorial at Arlington memorial. Just seeing the rows and
rows of markers really set the tears flowing.....

Thanks again.

best regards
Col Greg Davis (ret)
