There is a fantastic Wave Camp coming up Feb 21 - Mar 8, at the Grant
County Airport in Petersburg, WV. I have attended a number of camps at
this site, and can attest to the high quality of the soaring
conditions, the site and the hosting. I will be flying my Lambada
motorglider to W99 for the camp. There will be several regional
soaring clubs and numerous private pilots and ships, along with
multiple tow plans at the camp. This is a fabulous wave and ridge
soaring site, at a beautiful location, and one of the best camps in

Winter 2009 Wave Camp has been confirmed at Grant County Airport (W99)
in Petersburg, WV, USA. Tow service will be available from February
21st through March 8th, 2009, weather permitting.

Look for the latest wave outlook and flight reports to be posted on

blog.wave99.info). Participants may also post updates in the comments
section of the weblog.


IMPORTANT: please help us with capacity planning by announcing your
intentions (e.g., dates of arrival, expected duration of stay, and any
