Default Final pre-AWAC Olan release (Aerobatic Sequence Design & Drawing Software)

New version 5.5 July 25, 2006

Olan (One Letter Aerobatics Notation) is a free Aerobatics sequence
design & drawing software. Get it from
http://www.aerobatics.org.il/olan. If you need to download it and don't
recall the URL, you can probably find it in google by searching for
olan aerobatics software.

This is the last version to be released before Poland's AWAC, unless
some severe bugs are found in the next 2-3 days. I'm flying to Poland
July 31.

Version 5.5 supports selection of figures for unknown sequences, just
in time for Poland. It will print the figures on a nice grid with the
catalog information, and will allow you to verify the individual
figures even when they don't make up a sequence.

Rounded corners, as suggested last month, are now optional. Try them.
It is up to CIVA/IAC to allow such forms to be officially submitted.

You can now print the Pilot's card with wind going left-to-right(C
form-like), as requested by some competitors.

Many small printing bugs have been fixed, and top-of-loop multiple
elements now display nicely.

British Intermediate Free can now be verified. If you have the rules
for other countries and would like me to add them, please email me
official documented rules.

You can always check the "what's new" page:
http://www.aerobatics.org.il/olan/whatsnew.htm to see what has been
fixed, or ignore new releases (press Skip when prompted to download a
new version.)

Enjoy,
