Default Electronic review of flight?

Chartcase: http://www.flightprep.com/rootpage.php?page=HomeEFBSW

Records tracks, including speed and altitude. At least the
data is in the track file. Their display is basically just
the route as a static trail of bread crumbs, at least in the
current release. Possibly they plan to do more with it in
the future.

With all of the new EFIS(Electronic flight Instrumentation Systems), has
anyone seen one that stores the flight path for replay? It looks like all of
the information is there, and this would be a tremendous help in instrument
instructing, or even "pattern review". If downloaded to a simulator on a pc,
this would be a good help answer post flight review questions. Al CFIAMI

My ancient Garmin 195 will record the flight track and allow it it be
downloaded to a PC. I assume most more recent handheld GPS units can as
well. One of those features that you can get on a handheld, but can't get
in any panel mount, IFR certified GPS units.

Unfortunately, my 195 will only record horizontal information. Don't know
if newer handhelds might record altitude information.
