Al,Don't know what you're talking about. My laptop with
wireless card works just fine in the bathroom. :-)

My suggestion was that members have the choice; get the magazine each month OR download a .pdf of the magazine each month and then at the end of the year get a CD with the whole year on it. The monthly downloads could be handled through the current 'login' area and would have the photo quality downgraded and perhaps even in just black & white, to make the file size smaller. However the CD version would be in full color and no quality loss. Members could elect to get both
the magainze AND end-of-year CD but would have to pay
more for that option. I haven't heard anything back yet about it. The concept of getting all previous ones
on CD would be nice but may not be technically feasible unless someone takes the time or is paid to scan in all of the old magazines. However, it could also be a 'from-now-and-for
w ard' thing. Especially if the magazine was already being put in pdf format for what I described above. Later!-MarkAt 04:24 12 July 2003, F.L. Whiteley wrote:FWIW,

Dick Johnsontold me of this: Can you imagine all of the 'Soaring'magazines from 1934 to present on a searchableCD-ROM? Could this be aprofitable project for SSA? Anyone have experience in
this and know the costs and potential profit? EAA did it - thefollowing is from their web news: SPORT AVIATION MAGAZINE
