I'm considering getting the Terrain Awareness MCC card

Are there any plans to update the data on the card?

I spoke with the Lowrance reps at the AOPA convention, and asked the
question about updates. They said, basically, that terrain is stable,
mountains don't move much, and there is no need for updates. I mentioned
man-made objects -- towers, etc. They replied that these are on the
Jeppesen database update, which is seperate from the terrain database.
