Spitfire X4110 had an operational life
of just 25 minutes, with 602 Sqn.
Shot up on Aug.18 over Bognor, piloted
by Fl. Lt. Dunlop Urie who suffered
minor wounds. A photo from the the left side
shows 3 huge holes. This a/c did not fly again. Back broken
