I'll go over tomorrow at lunch time. The Airpark took some hits.

FACs:
Any news about the effect of Hurricane Ivan on Hurlburt and the FAC
and
Air Commando static displays, etc.?
Jack
If no one responds I will bop on over there this weekend and take a
look.
In the mean time, can someone explain what these are and where
they are located?

Hurlburt Field is in the Florida Panhandle roughly halfway between
Pensacola
and Panama City. Hurlburt is home of Air Force, special ops. Just inside
the
main gate on highway 98 there is a park with assorted aircraft used over
the
years by special ops. They include an A-37, AC-130, H-1, A-1 etc. The
base
chapel has a stained glass window dedicated to the men who died in Iran
during
the hostage rescue attempt.
The base is also where Doolittle practiced for the raid on Japan.
