Default New SPOT 2 device has nice TRACK suspend feature with OK button

In response to a question from Leo Buckley about the details of SPOT
operation, I spent some quality time with a SPOT customer service guy,
and got some very interesting info about the new SPOT 2 tracker.

With the old SPOT 1 devices, if you have it in the recommended
tracking mode while flying, but wish to transmit an OK message so your
crew gets an email/text message, you had to turn the unit off, turn it
back on, activate the OK function, wait for it to finish transmitting,
and then wrestle the thing back into track mode - a real PITA.

With the new SPOT2 device, pressing the OK button while in track mode
suspends tracking, sends the OK message, and then resumes track mode -
very nice!!!

So, SPOT users (like KM, for instance) who wish to use track mode but
still send an occasional OK message to their crew can now have their
cake and eat it too - just trade in that old SPOT1 device for a new
shiny SPOT2!

Regards,

Frank (TA).
