As an accomplished nitpicker, I would point out that it's No.151
Squadron (squadron markings a white saltire on a blue ground), not No.19
(blue and white checks). As far as I can tell, XX345 has served with
Nos.100 and 208 Squadrons as well, but not No,19.

Keep up the good work with posting the photos!

Looks like the CFS badge on the fin. Definitely not No.19.

See http://www.raf.mod.uk/organisation/19squadron.cfm

Well, it seems that defense cuts make traditions difficult to
understand on both sides of the Channel...

I did look briefly for the CFS, but didn't find it on the RAF site.
Nothing I found anywhere referred to No.19 as the CFS. It's all very
confusing these days, with what used to be active squadrons being
assigned to various training units and being known by more than one name
at a time.

The badge on the fin is the CFS, though.

It all used to be so simple. When I was in the ATC, my squadron once
spent a week at Little Rissington, where the CFS flew Gnats, and another
at Leconfield, where Nos. 19 and 92 flew Lightnings,
We only got rides in Chipmunks, apart from one highly enjoyable flight
in a Provost (the original piston-engined version).
