About the same timeframe as this photo, there was a six engine flyingboat
parked on the seaplane ramp at Marseilles, France. It had dual rudders mounted on horizontal stab with pronounced dihedral. Engines had been removed...... could it have been a Short Sunderland? Pictures? Old Chief Lynn "Joseph Testagrose" wrote in message ...
