Does anyone know what the "GPS IS UNRELIABLE AND MAY BE UNAVAILABLE" NOTAMs
are all about? Some of them have a radius of nearly 400 nm. That's an area of half a million square miles--almost three times the area of the State of Texas. If it's a test of jamming equipment, it sure is conducted on a large scale ... large enough that it starts to negate the utility of GPS. -- Transpose mxsmanic and gmail to reach me by e-mail. |
