Good lord is this a fantastic deal. I looked over this aircraft in March out of curiosity and would give it 5 stars. It is in like new condition.
The wings are flawless. The engine is in excellent condition, the prop not a flaw. WOW!! R

My early investigations do indeed support your thinking, logistically it doesn't really make sense. However, the going rate for a D2ct in good condition is c.$113,000. Makes more sense now,eh? Still not sensible enough to pursue a deal though.......................

Once bought a glider from him in excellent condition. However, I suggest a thorough "kicking of the tires" since the one he sold me had one flaw; the yaw string doesn't work! Had to use starch to keep it straight. M
