Were there any naval aviation units at the following installations
during WWII? the following were WWII 6th AAF installations in Panama. the two largest we David Air Base Rio Hato #2 Air Base 6th Air Force bases Albrook Field, Balboa Aguadulce Airport Anton Airport Chame Airport #1 Chame Airport #2 Chorrera Airport #1 Chorrera Airport #2 David Air Base France Field (include Old Field), Colon Howard Field, Balboa Jaque Airport La Joya Airport #1 La Joya Airport #2 Limon Airport Madden Field Mandinga Airport Paitilla Point Airport Penomone Airport Pocri Airport Rey Island Airport Rio Hato #2 Air Base Mike |

The Navy flew from Coco Solo, on the Atlantic side. A google search revealed an anecdote by a former AF jet mechanic that AF P-80s at France Field would use Coco Solo's runway because it was longer, although it was a long taxi. Must've been relatively close to each other.
Coco Solo had VPs (PBY only?) during WWII. Closed (as NAS) 1950. Quote:
