Is there any reason I can't remove my factory OAT and throw it out? I
have a mechanical OAT gauge but would rather just use my EDM OAT gauge. The JPI says their gauge is only certified as "supplemental" but does the FAA even care if I have an OAT at all? I've been replacing the original OAT gauge every 2 years because it's mechanical and wears out (the needle starts to vibrate too much). -Robert |
