If you had a ASW28-18E, say,...
... and you wanted to base it somewhere in Europe that:
-was adjacent to mountains -had hangar storage available and a long season for flying -you could arrive any day of the week and find a tow and ground help available where would that place be?

Challes Les Eaux between Grenoble and Geneva. Winch tow to a nearby
ridge and you are off for the day. Hangar may be filled, flying every day. A very large friendly club.
