Kid cracked the screen on my Compaq V4000 laptop. Best Buy says $1000
to replace. I say that's pretty funny for a $600 computer. Anybody know where to get one fixed for a reasonable amount or should I trash it? |

Possibly a new screen or perhaps a used laptop that is the same model there? -- Peter |

Anybody know where to get one fixed for a reasonable amount or should I trash it? If you're lucky, you'll find a used laptop screen on eBay. I used to have an iBook with a cracked screen and replacements were sure going for big $$$ on ebay... guess it's a common problem ![]() Good luck! -- Mike |
