Default Emergency landing Piper on french highway

Hello,

I could not find any article in english but here are some pictures of a
Piper Archer that landed on a french highway yesterday and took off on
the same highway the next day.
The road looked pretty narrow for that plane and not straight too !
All the articles I read state that the issue was with fuel ( that's
pretty vague ).
